A History of Technology Leadership

AC Corporation has its roots from Makati Machinery & Equipment Co., Inc., which was renamed AC Machineries, Inc. in 1982 by its holding company, Ayala Corporation.  The predecessor used to distribute heavy machineries like Mitsubishi, Sakai, Tadano and Furukawa, in addition to diesel engines, drainage pumps and industrial consumables.  When AC Corporation was founded in 1989 to take over the activities of AC Machineries, Inc., the management refocused its objectives and began to build up more lines and services for the petroleum and mining industries.

The company now has more than 90% of the market for Service Station Pumps, LPG Filling Plants, LPG Valves and Regulators and LPG Vaporizers, with a respectable share of the air compressor business for service stations.  Its activities in the mining sector are in services.  It does overhauling and repair of diesel engines for underground mining equipment, supply of spare parts, underground lamps and drainage pumps.

In other fields, Crisplant of Denmark dominates the LPG Filling Plant Business.  The oil industry uses now its electronic models in various forms from stand-alone installations to completely automated facilities.

In aviation, the company holds a majority share of the market for filtration and turbine fuel quality control.  The company also designs, supplies, installs and commissions oily water separators with aeration complying to the provisions of the Water Act Law.  All of the imported components are manufactured by FACET of USA.

On larger scale, AC Corporation represents and collaborates with Diamond Key International, a highly specialized company engaged in process and oil terminal automation.

In line with the government's drive in export activities, the company put up two (2) furniture plants; one for wrought iron using German equipment and one for wooden furniture using Italian machineries.  The company is now exporting to U.K., the Middle East and servicing the growing local demand for its products with artistic innovations using plasma cutting techniques and digitally controlled machines.

AC Corporation provides consultancy, which is a set of specialized professional services designed to help in optimizing service station operations. It includes specialized services in fleet fuel management and service automation.
